Update. I switched out the pool socks for hair nets. The water definitely flows better with hairnets. A little tricky to use in my skimmer baskets with the threaded center handle. You stretch the hairnet over the handle then screw them into the basket. Works great.
Today, the pool has almost none of the Crud. It just took 3 days of skimmer action to clear them. The hairnets are great, because as $0.10 each you can just throw them away. I expect the pool to be completely clear later today.
Next: TA reduction! Heading to 60! This requires re-installing a pump for my pencil jet fountains and installing new flow control valves.
