Not sure what the buildup at my waterline tiles is

Hello, can someone tell me what this is called so I can look it up in the forum to find out how to get rid of it? I thought it was algae but after reading some of the threads, I wasn't so sure. Thank you!

Does it look like mold? Try a diluted mixture of bleach and water. Spray, let it sit for a few minutes, and hit it with a nylon brush.

Yes, it does look like mold. I did read that you can spray it with bleach. I will try that.
