In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, we have no power for my pool pump and no ETA. Hoping for power in the next day or so but who knows. Is there anything I can do besides keep putting LC in the water? I've been putting about 1/2 gallon of 10 percent a day, which is about what my pool consumes when its this hot. I went swimming and cleaned out most all of the leaves and organic matter. Really hoping to not have to SLAM at 80 CYA, and I have a pool party for my daughters 6th bday coming up.

Anything you can do to circulate the water will help, other than that you're doing what you can do.

You'll want to perform an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test after you get power back, but even if that indicates the need to SLAM the pool it can be postponed until after the party as long as the water is clear and you're maintaining FC between the minimum and SLAM level for your CYA. You might have to deal with higher FC loss than usual while you wait, but it won't hurt anything otherwise. Or maybe you won't need to at all, keeping the water chlorinated and circulated as best as possible (brush, swim, splash, whatever you can do) then there's a better than even chance the pool chemistry will be just fine.
