No Flow

Hi all, I just back washed and rinsed my filter due to a lot of rain the last couple of days. My pumo was flowing fine prior to backwash. No there is no flow going through the pump. The valve is back in the 'fillter' position.

Any ideas what's going on?

You might review the following:
- Check any 3-way valves before or after the filter to ensure they are in the correct position (if applicable).
- Check the poolside skimmer for obstructions.
- Make sure pool water level didn't drop too low at the skimmer
- Check the weir door/flap to ensure it's not stuck closed.
- Make sure the pump strainer pot is full of water for prime
- Test the water movement on recirculate if necessary which basically bypasses the filter to ensure water can indeed flow from pool>multiport valve>pool freely. This would rule-out an obstruction somewhere.
- If you have a main drain, you can also test water flow (suction) from the skimmer and/or drain separately.
