I am pleased to report my husband has fixed the pool. We tried pouring 5 gallons of water in the skimmer to “prime” the pump at the direction of our salesman. That didn’t do it. So my husband went through all the pipes and fittings again. Maybe it was the pressure of those 5 gallons being dumped in there but this time he was able to locate the air leak. It was coming from a fitting. He removed the fitting and sure enough, it was cracked. All seems to be running smoothly. For now. Thanks for all the help!
