Liquid Chlorine
First time with liquid chlorine. 1 liter of 10% added to the pool about 7:30 pm last night. Let the filter circulate for about 90 minutes after. Pool math said it should increase about 2 ppm. Tested FC this morning and it didn’t move at all. Any ideas why? Does liquid chlorine need to be added daily or just as needed?
I’m in Las Vegas, NV. Temp last evening was low 80s and the same when I tested this morning. Pool temp was 86F this morning.

Liquid chlorine should be added however often it is needed to maintain your fc above minimum for your cya.
FC/CYA Levels
In your locale this time of year average daily fc loss in an algae free pool can be up to 3-5ppm/ day.

30 minutes or so After your next dose test & see what your result is.
You may just have degraded (old) liquid chlorine.
If you get the expected rise then you may want to do an
Overnight Chlorine Loss Test
