Hello all, I'm recently retired and now live on a fixed income, oh boy! I was involved in industrial mechanical maintenance for over 47 years. I've had my Sharkline above ground pool since 1986 and it still looks good today! Keep in mind that is 36 cold New England Winters. It appears from what I'm reading on this site, that I'm one of a small majority who still uses Baquacil. I believe in a "crystal clear" pool at all times and will do whatever it takes to keep my pool and water clean. If I can help anyone let me know.

I'm glad it's worked for you, but TFP is specifically about helping people with the TroubleFree Pool Care method. Truthfully, after seeing the time and money sunk in to baqua over the years I can't imagine watching anyone try to promote that method. Inferior results at a superior cost is the exact opposite of what we want to help people accomplish.
I'm sure you found this forum because it's one of the most popular places to go for pool care advice on the internet. That's not by chance. It's because of the vast knowledge of the members and a pool care method that consistently works. You cannot find that kind of forum full of happy baqua users, and that's not by chance either.
