Just got a new liner installed yesterday and am in the process of filling with city water. Prior to old liner being removed, the water turned into a chunky green swamp. Plumbing is all still winterized as the pool was never opened this spring (hence the swamp). While the pool itself it crystal clear with the new water, the skimmer and the bottom drain both have some algae residue on the walls. Once I get the water level up high enough to begin circulation, should I still SLAM the pool? Currently both FC and CYA are at 0. If i do SLAM, should I first establish baseline levels - say CYA 50, FC 6 - for a few days before SLAM? Or should I dump everything in at once or adjust one parameter at a time (if so, which order?)? Thanks!!
Current Levels with city water:
FC 0
CC 0
pH 7.3
