Hi All,

I have been in my home for 2 years now and had a pool man handling my pool for the first 1.5 years. I took over in this past winter when the pool wasn't used. I shocked weekly and floated 2 pucks of chlorinated tablets just as the pool man had. ~2 months ago (March) I deep cleaned my DE filter and re applied DE.
Last month after getting involved here with TFP I switched to liquid chlorine so I ditched the pucks and no more powder shock.
I received my TF-100 kit and my Cl is reading 5 and Ph 8.2 my CYA is 70. All 3 numbers still reading the same even after 10 days of no chlorine.
Little algae present only on the crease of the steps but it brushes off with ease.
If I understand correctly, dropping Ph with Muriatic Acid should be the first step?
Any advice is appreciated...
