Just bought a house with a pool and already having issues.... I’m just trying to understand what I have as far as a pool cleaner. The hose has already broken and today it broke near the coupling that goes in to the pool wall.

I assume this is a suction powered cleaner?

Are the hoses universal? Should interlace this cleaner, it’s at least a decade old per the old owner. I’m trying to avoid going to Leslie’s as I’ve heard they are way too expensive.

Any guidance and advice on replacing the hose and cleaner are appreciated.

Welcome to TFP! I'm not familiar with that cleaner. Maybe another member will chime-in. But 10 years is a long run for just about any cleaner. There are a lot more cleaners on the market now than there were back then, so an upgrade may be worth the investment. Many like the newer robots, but suction cleaners are still popular as well. Unless you see a great sale, I would probably avoid our local stores as their mark-ups always seem outrageous. Lots of good deals online. Hopefully someone else will have more suggestions for you today.

Stay cool! :swim:
