No. You can start adding anytime you want. Remember it won't fully register one a test for up to a week. Just assume it's there. ?
I think your going to be fine.
Now make sure you maintain your FC level for a CYA level of 70. That would be a min of 5. Just so you know while your FC is drifting down. As soon as it gets to 8 I would test PH and adjust if you have to. Then start your SWG. it should be able to take over with no problems. You'll already have FC levels up.
In the future don't broadcast the CYA into the water. That could fade your liner. Put it in a sock and hang it over the edge, or in the skimmer if you have one.[/QUOTE]
Ok, I was just following the directions onthe bottle. It had directions for skimmer and for broadcasting. Our skimmer is built into the pump so I wasn't sure if it was ok to do it that way.

And then when we leave, pump is on timer, SWS runs as normal, pool is covered. That will work?
Turn SWS on when FC gets to 8? Or 5?
Still need to know about this question.
Okay, here are the latest results coming off the SLAM.
FC: 10
CC: 0
PH: 7.2
TA: 120
I didn't retest the CYA, but did add amount needed to take it to 70.
Is there anything I need to address before leaving for vacation tomorrow night? Will I be okay covering pool, turning SWS back on, and pump on timer? With these readings as they are?

I'll retest FC tomorrow, too.
