I checked my fill water (well water) and these are the results pH=8.0(or higher) TA=130. Any thoughts how this might affect the chemistry of my pool? Thanks!
Those two should not really have a great effect on your makeup water. In fact the pH could be off. Aeration from the faucet could have brought it up. The only unknown is any metals that maybe in your well water.
