Just discovered this forum. 2nd time pool owner, learn something new every time I touch my pool/equipment. Repairing/rebuilding my pool motors was "fun", however I learned a lot. We have a 27,000 gal fresh water pool, and I must say that the more I learn, the less I have to rely on pool service folks, and for that I'm grateful. In the future, I want my comment(s) to be beneficial others. Current task is replacing both 12v pool lights with replacement LED lights and gaskets.
