Back story:
House in Dallas, TX. Moved into the house in December. The pool had a "katch-a-kid" cover on it during the cold months. It had a couple of small leaks around the skimmer opening and a light fixture that got fixed. I removed the pool cover today to clean the pool a little bit and get ready to start using it (at least the spa part).
Got my TF-Pro testing kit and did the first measurements today. I was expecting to see bad results, given that I didn't add any chemicals to the pool over the last 2 months. But they seem fine. I noticed that there is an Pentair 320 Automatic In-Line chlorine/bromine feeder in the line going into my pump. I haven't figured out how to open it yet, but I assume the previous owner used it and that's how the chemistry stayed fairly balanced.
The results are as follows (also linked from PoolMath in my profile).
3.5 FC
0.5 CC
7.8 pH
70 TA
375 CH
30 CYA
I redid the tests with similar results. What are your recommendations based on these results?
