New smaller pool on old pool spot, ground is level, but paver set questions

Thank you so much for all the info in advance. I have searched for days and cannot find an answer about how to re-set these pavers.
We were setting up a 24' steel wall pool where our previous 30' pool was.
My husband assumed the ground was still level, he did use a line level to check, he is using the same old pavers which performed well (15 years, with the old pool).
The 30' had a ton of rust, so we had to start over. being in our 60's, we decided a smaller pool would be easier to maintain.
I am afraid he did not understand the set up and this is where we are: see the picture.
Level pavers on top of level ground. The bottom track is floating.
We do live in AL, the ground is hard clay.
Does the whole pool need to be dissassembled and moved off the pavers to sink them?
Can the whole pool be moved?
Can the pavers be "lowered" one at a time?
The bottom rail is floating at this point.
What would be the best solution?

The pavers under each leg need to be sunk into the ground until they are level with the surface.

With enough (maybe 4 people in total) you *might* be able to mark out where the pavers are, slide the entire pool off of the pavers, dig the pavers into the ground and verify level, and then slide the pool back onto the pavers.

My suspicion is that might be more trouble than it is worth. Pools are heavy, and even if you do move it, you are going to be working on lowering the pavers while working around the already assembled pool.

It it was me, I would probably try it, but then be prepared to take it apart if things are not working out. You really do not want to kink that wall.

Thank you, that is worth a try and we are just not wanting to have to undo all the work already done. We are not spring chickens anymore, hopefully we will have a cool day and some help to try this and get this thing with some water. We really miss our pool.
