New Single Speed pump for water falls --- cuts out ---

Had the local pool repair shop replace my single speed motor that runs the water falls that I run mostly at parties and weekends...

It runs with no problems in service mode... however when I turn it on normally it will run for 2 mins tops then shuts off...

I now the more is not the cause as it runs for hours in SERVICE MODE.... there is no timers or schedules set -- they all were deleted....and all the software is updated to latest version

Thoughts?
