I’d HIGHLY consider a Chiller unless you enjoy swimming in a big bathtub in the summer months with it 110 deg outside. Really from June-October.
I have heard that the chiller is really noisy? Is that accurate. I have a relative in Louisiana that has been waiting for their delivery of Glacier chiller for 6 months. Also, Did you make your pad extra long or wide to accommodate it?

Slightly noisy. Basically about the sound of a standard air conditioner. I’ve asked my neighbor if she can hear it and she told me no. Her bedroom window not too far from it. Still I wouldn’t put it right outside your bedroom window. Other than that it’s fine.
I actually added it 5 months after my pool was built so I needed to build a new pad. Best investment so far. I’m swimming in 84 deg water. My neighbor 95 deg water..
