New Pump & Filter Hayward W3CC15093S -- Mounting the filter to the base?

Hi folks,

I know this has been discussed on some threads in the past; but when reviewing nothing was specific to this model.

My previous pump & filter was mounted to the plastic base. There were screws through the base that secured the filter assembly to the base.

When I removed this Hayward pump & filter kit from the box, I don;t see any way to mount the filter to the base. It appears that the filter just sits on the base and the plumbing between the pump (which bolts down to base with two screws) is the only securing of the filter to the upright position ---- beyond just gravity.

Is there a way to mount this filter to the base? I find it hard to un-screw the top section for filter removal...and can imagine that this is going to put a lot of force on the pump plumbing connection as I twist on the whole thing to get the lid off.
Seems weird they provided no way to screw the filter housing to the base

Thoughts on how to do this?

Thanks,
-J

When full, that filter will weight about 120 lbs so friction alone should be enough to keep it in place. My filter has never been tied to the equipment pad.

I can appreciate that the weight will mostly keep it in place. No option for seismic strapping or just extra insurance to prevent that from moving?

I'm just shocked that there is no mount holes for some sort of strapping or mounting like my previous filter/pump assembly.
