New pool owner with crazy test results

Finished our pool last fall, and just had it opened a few weeks ago. Water turned very cloudy. I threw away the test strips and bought a Taylor 2006 fas dpd kit. Here are my numbers.
Fc: 4ppm
Cc: 1.5
Ca Hardness: 250ppm
TA: 250
CYA: couldnt get a reading, so im assuming its 0?
PH: 7.6

Pool is still a bit cloudy so I think I need to Slam it. What should I do about TA and CYA?

Thanks

Using PoolMath to calculate your amounts:

  1. Add enough Muriatic acid to drop your pH to 7.2.
  2. Add enough CYA/stabilizer to get your CYA level up to 30.
  3. Since your water is cloudy and CC elevated, use liquid chlorine/bleach to bring FC up to SLAM levels and follow the SLAM procedure to completion.

Leave TA alone until after successful SLAM.

Good luck
