Hi All, I had a pool in PA for several years and used the TFP method with the full test kit, Pool Math, etc.

We have moved to TX and are opening a new pool in a month or two. I'm starting to look at liquid chlorine, wow the prices have gone up! We are considering switching from the 1 gal jugs to the big blue refillable.

How do people handle those huge jugs? I can't even lift a full one. Measuring a gallon at a tie seems like it would be really hard and I would end up with spotted clothes.

I see there is such a thing as a Stenner pump. Can I set it to dose a set amount?

Anyone have other guidance?

Thanks in advance everyone!!!!

Yes. I put mine on a smart plug and connected to Alexa routine to turn the pump on and off. I had routines that lasted from 10 min to 60 minutes in 10 minute increments. I tested FC, knew how much I wanted to add, just had to say "Alexa, pool 30 minutes." It added it.

You can also use a timer and set it up to run whatever length you want...

Might be time, given the prices of LC, to look at a Salt Water Chlorine Generator...just sayin'
