The pavers look great! Are they honed and filled? My travertine is Noche and has a bit more white in it. They have alot of little holes etc...but it gives MUCH more grip when the tile is all wet with the kids. I would worry it would be too slick with the honed and filled pavers.
 
No, we didn't have them honed or filled. We had the same worries as you about honing and filling making the surface really slick. It's hard to tell in the pitures, but there are a lot of little holes that, as you mentioned, do give it a really good grip. The color is Scabella and I think we really lucked out with the batch as they are really gorgeous.
