New pool... first posting

This is my first posting on TFP after lurking for about 6 months. This is a thread about the long continuing process of designing and building our backyard paradise.

We bought and had installed a 18x33' AG from The Great Escape. We also installed a new 16'x32' split level deck and new backyard privacy fence.

It's been a long process but seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is the first of many posts.

This shows the process of the deck installation. 2 things learned from this:

1. Remove dirt from posts before deck is installed.
2. Remove rock before deck posts are dug.

It's been a process trying to remove the mixed dirt/ rock. It's a muddy mess, and trying to separate them is a chore.

We're happy with the deck though, except for the high wood prices when we installed in May.
