I want to clarify that there is a type of small "Cover Pump" for on top of the autocover- this one removes water from pooling on the cover.

Then there is booster pump used for pressure sided sweepers. This pump pushes water thru the line to make the sweeper move and hopefully pick up dirt and debris on the floor of the pool.

The above two pumps are NOT the same as your main pool pump.

Well, months later and we are finally having the preconstruction meeting tomorrow With breaking ground a week later. I think the variable speed pump is mandated now and we will revisit a few of the items again. i am reconsidering the pool depth. 3 foot 6 going to 6 foot over 30 feet. Just thinking 5 foot 6 as max depth might be more useful. Any new stuff out we should consider?
