Hello Folks,
I am in the process of getting a pool build in the DFW area. We are pretty close to completion and mainly have the plaster and some final electrical work pending. We recently completed the decking and had travertine pavers installed. My question is mainly on the pool drainage pipe which was used to drain the pool into the front of the home. The pool drain ties to my gutter drains and all connect together with PVC pipes under the pavers. These PVC pipes continue till the edge of the decking/pavers till we get onto the grass. Once on the grass, the PVC pipe then connects to a Flexible Corrugated Black pipe which drains out into the right front side of the home.
Now I would like to confirm if using this flexible black corrugated pipe is a norm for areas under grass or should the construction company be using PVC Pipes. Aren't PVC pipes more durable in the long run? Should I have any concerns with the construction company using this flexible black corrugated pipes over PVC? Any feedback from the experts?
Thank you,
Regards,
