Just moved to FL into a new home with a new plaster pool. The pool was finished about a month ago.
My previous was fiberglass 13000 gal with a SWG. Using the tf-100 kit maintained everything just fine.
The pool builder handed over the pool a couple of days ago, while trying to sell me his service.
Anyhow....her are my numbers:
FC 4.5
CC 0.0
pH 8.2
TA 80
CYA 80
CAL 200
Salt 3300
CSI 0.0
Temp 68
I ordered more calcium to get the level up to at least 350,
I am continuously adding MA to get the pH down but so far as have gotten as low a 8.0

I know since the pool is new it will take time....just wondering if I'm on the right track?
Any suggestions?

Thanks
Dave

Are you testing your pH 30 minutes after you add acid?

What is the pH, TA, and CH of your fill water?

The pool was filled with city water and I just tested it
pH >8.2
TA 100
CA 80
I was testing the pH about every hour or so.
I would raise your FC, you are really close to minimums. Get it into target range here---link-->FC/CYA Levels

With new plaster, it may take 6-18 months for the pH rise to slow.
I started adjusting the SWG to bring the FC up, bumping up it up 5% a day.
