Hello everyone and thank you for the warm welcome. I am in the process of installing a new semi-inground 12x18 Pool Factory salt pool. I am located in the Northern Mojave desert in California. It has been quite a challenge, but we are just about ready to fill it up! We previously had a Bestways above ground pool, but the earthquakes we experienced in 2019 (5.4 and subsequent 7.2) took it out completely along with all the lovely xeriscaping I did around it. The summers here are brutal, and the local prices for an inground pool costs are so crazy locally, we once again decided to go the DIY route that was in our budget. I have the Hydrotools 70152c cartridge filter system, Hayward skimmer and 40 gauge liner. i still havent decided on a SWG. I'm still wading through reviews, articles and posts before I make a decision. Any suggrestions are welcome! My pool is roughly 5500k gallons according to MFR specs.
