I googled a question about algae in painted pools and found this Trouble Free Pool site. I have several questions that I will eventually post in the forum however I am first going to read trouible free school and get me some new test equipment [I currently use test strips] I bought a house 10 years ago with an existing pool, it was built in late fifties or early sixties by a popular pool company in So. Cal "Anthony" pools, I have recently upgrade the pump, it has 4 large cartridge filters, [I'm currently using use Pleatco brand filters]
I am a mid aged guy who loves water, likes to entertain gusts with pool parties, this year is cool watching "Dive In" movies on my projector outside at night. We have a college grad daughter still at home until her wedding next spring, we have dogs and my golden retriever has his own floaty that he floats on when I am in the pool.
