After a year of neglect due to family health issues we needed a new liner that was installed today.
The pool is currently filling (well water) and I also bought a new Pump and filter and new pool steps so everything is new that will touch the water.

I completely forgot to order refills for the TFT 100 that I bought close to 3 years ago and do not want trouble to stat before I can run accurately the testing.
The PH in the water will be very high that much I know so if any ideas on what to do would be appreciated

Since you know there is no CYA, add enough to a sock to get you to 30. Use Pool Math to determine the amount. Also use Pool Math to tell you how much liquid chlorine to add daily.

Then wait until your refills come.

I bought 5 lbs stabilizer and 6 gallons of fresh 10% liquid chlorine and also one of the pre loaded temporary slow release floaters to ensure some chlorine is in at all times while I bring up the CYA (first sock full is almost dissolved)
My TFT refills are on order as of today.

Sounds good. Check what’s in the floater, it likely also has stabilizer. You can use the bottom of the Pool Math Page (link above) to see the effect of adding that chemical.

Yes the floater has Trichlor 3” pucks 7 I believe and since it is a fresh fill the added CYA will not be an issue.
When I hard lined the new filter and pump the inline chlorine dispenser found a new home in my shed ;)
