New Liner installation not looking correct

We had a new liner installed that doesn’t fit snug or not trimmed out around the stairs as well as our 12 year+ pool liner. The employees said to fill the pool and if the sagging areas aren’t corrected they’d come back to correct. A different employee came out and forced square caps on the step trim, and said the cut the liner back zig zagged, 1/4” and 1/2” hanging out and if the sagging doesn’t correct with time, they will address it. But now employees are saying the owner said they aren’t doing anything else. We just want a correct installation as promised before we ordered, supported by their word and photos. We just need an outside opinion to give us an honest opinion. We don’t want bigger issues to come from leaving it like it is and we won’t it to look nice like a $5,000 new liner installation should look. Thank you, Laurie Crews

Hey Laurie and Welcome !!!

So fill the pool. How it looks after is just speculation at this point. Filling does correct some sag, although not always.
not trimmed out
Its not worth the hassle of a call back and waiting around for the service call. Trust me, I get the frustration and the principal. But how much grief do you want over something so trivial ? My guys forgot to cut out my skimmer. A sheetrock knife fixed it in 9 seconds and the phone still would have been ringing at that point. Zero 4 letters were said by fixing it myself. Many would have been said had I called them.
