New Liner and Iron Stains on Steps

We just had a new liner installed and the steps were a perfect white, like they should be, for like 2 days. We noticed there was iron in the water when we started filling the pool with white socks over the hose. We added 2 bottles of Metal Out, the Pinch a Penny version, and I am still seeing the iron stains on the steps water line.

What is the recommended treatment for this? Mikes Magic products?

Do I need to get on a maintenance plan using their products?

Jack's Magics has a line of products available. Of course there are some chemical factors that apply, and potentially using polyfill to remove iron when it is in the agitated state. If you are not able to filter-out iron, then you are stuck with periodic sequestrant products to keep the iron in a soluble form.
