New in North Texas

Hi all...just wanted to give a little intro and say I'll be following along as I learn about the new pool. It is basically finished now, just hoping the mottling in the quartz plaster will be less over time. The PB has been great. The economy is evidently making it possible for lots of new pools to be built. I was told they already have 19 new pools under contract for the new year.

When the landscaping fills in, I'll be ringed by Nellie Stevens hollies which will give lots of privacy with a windmill palm out there braving the Texas winds.

This is a great forum and I expect I'll be learning a lot in the future.

to the forum, neighbor (I'm in the Dallas area) :)

Your pool will be in cruise mode when you follow the mainstay of the forum's TFP method (Bleach / CYA ratio being the foundation).

Since I switched to the TFP method in June 2014, my pool's been in auto-pilot mode, crystal clear water, longer D.E. Backwash life spans, no algae issues.

Enjoy your new pool
