Hi all!
New soon-to-be above-ground pool owner here from Wisconsin checking in. I've read through pool-school, got my TF-100, stocked up on liquid chlorine, and some muratic acid and CYA, and some soda ash for good measure.
Pool is due to be installed in a couple weeks - and I'm anxious to get started! Electrical is run, my shed is organized, I'm running out of things I can do.
I gave my TF-100 a test run last night with my tap/fill water; other than anticipating I'm going to need to add some acid and some CYA (in a sock...), any other tips for a rookie?
Tap Water - FC 2.0 / CC 0.5, PH ~8.2 / TA 290, CH 75
Love the site so far - what a tremendous resource. (To think, the pool store guy had me convinced on the merits of a mineral system ... glad I came here and did my own research.)
