Hi everyone, getting started on a new pool build this month!

Would like to hear some comments or reviews of the various radius steps with Jets.

Seats: Are the seating areas functional for adults? they look really small and crammed to sit on?

Jets: I will be installing a variable speed pump and diverter so all the pressure of the pump will go to the back jets, will this be a good massage for the back area? Similar to a hot tub? I am assuming it should be fine since the var speed pumps reach almost 3hp

Please post any installed pictures or comments welcome, thank you in advance!

Hiya Al :handwave: Welcome to TFP we're glad to have you here.

A pool return is rarely ever like a good hot tub jet. Hot tub jets pulsate the water which provides that strong massaging feel. A continuous flow of water such as your plan will just be a strong flow. How that feels is up to debate.

If you want the spa/hot tub experience I would suggest a stand alone hot tub. Hot water (I like mine at 102 degrees) and various jets in various seats make for a pleasant soak. Each seat offers a different angled spray.

Those white fiberglass seats and stairs do look tiny! I take it you're putting in a vinyl pool? Have you considered a large tanning shelf or wide stairs to lounge on fully padded and covered with your vinyl lining? Looks sharp, more custom, IMO.

Maddie, thanks for the quick response. A hot tub would be ideal, however there is no room for one in our build :(

Also due to size, a tanning shelf and large steps would take up too much room within the pool.

I am looking at a 24x12 pool size to fit my location
