Re: New Build in Phoenix *UPDATED 3/25*

Anyone having a hard time locating PVC? That's because it's all in my pool!!! :hammer: Plumbing is done, here is the video. You might not be able to view it on a mobile device and have to view it on a pc because Youtube has copyright issues when you put music to your videos:

Passed pre-gunite inspection today, shooting gunite tomorrow at 6am! Video to follow. Ill try to get the rebar video up tonite. I think my electrician has got me sold on doing pavers instead of an acrylic-laced concrete. Anyone know about this company "Artistic paver mfg"? They are local (Arizona) and have some cool looking stuff.

I looked into them. They make some outstanding claims. I takled to a PB who offered their products, Shellock IIRC, and they were willing but didn't seem to be believers. They had it in their pool display but we went with travertine from Monterrey Tile instead. Didn't like the look of the square blocks but like I said, if it's as cool to the touch as they say it is, it's something you should probably look at yourself to decide. Check out Monterrey Tile for their travertine. Not all travertine is equal.

Here are some still photos of the rebar. It shows the main features of the pool: The swim-up bar, the spa spillway, and the grotto.

Re: New Build in Phoenix *UPDATED 3/25*

The guy we were working with said the artistic pavers (brand name) were more expensive than travertine. But, like someone else said, there are also different grades of travertine so some probably cost more.
