We recently moved into a new home in East Texas and are excited to be building our first pool in the near future!
We've already learned a ton by reading posts on the forums here over the last week, but we still have a very steep learning curve ahead of us.
We were originally looking at an August build, but it turns out our PB may be able to start sooner. While that's great news, it also has us scrambling a bit to educate ourselves and make decisions about pool size, placement/orientation, materials, etc.
One big plus is that we have a lot of confidence in our PB as he is very experienced and comes highly recommended by multiple people that we know well. He also does much of his own work with limited use of subcontractors. Fingers crossed we have as good an experience with him as others have!
I will post in the Under Construction forum regarding specifics of our build and current questions (I hope that's the right forum!). Thanks in advance for any and all assistance/suggestions as we embark on this new experience!
