Hello all- new to the forum. I've been browsing for weeks now (don't tell my boss). I've learned a lot by reading through everyone's posts, so thanks for the info. We just completed our build and are just about to back fill. We couldn't be happier with our pool company, they have done a great job. One issue that I'm concerned about is in the shallow end, there are several bumps on the floor, some bigger than others, from uneven pool crete They are not visible in day light, only at night with the pool lights on. I'm just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has experienced it? The pool company said it is, and some of the bumps could possibly disappear once we start using pool and walking on them. Thank you!

Put a bright light down on many 'crete surfaces, say a driveway or walkway, and you'll be surprised at how uneven it really is, even though it looks perfect in the daylight. The light source raking across surface from a low angle accentuates the irregularities while the flat daylight hides them. Nothing to worry about.
