So I bought this bag of snowjoe, red bag which is what I think is correct. Snow Joe 25 lb. Professional Strength Calcium Chloride Pellets Ice Melter - Re-Sealable Bag MELT25CCP - The Home Depot

#1 is this the right stuff

#2 what is the proper way to apply?

I have a salt pool, my home and therefore my fill water has a water softener on it so anytime i add water it lowers my CH.

My CH level was 190 on 3/15, I added a 15 pd bucket of leslies caclium hardness plus i believe which now has me at 250. My plan was to get up to 350 so I bought a 25lb bag of this snowjoe and want to be sure I do this correctly.

Thoughts?

yep the one I have says 94% which I think is ok and what I wanted?
