Hi Everyone,

I am new to TFP and a fairly new pool owner, have had it a year. I decided to drain it a few weeks ago because the chemicals were out if whack. I also wanted to move it, level it out better and build a stairway with a landing. Once it was drained, I found some rust stains. I tried vinyl cleaner, that helped but didnt completely take it off. I ended up using vinegar to get the stains out. We set the pool to the side and started working on the other things. Last night we were ready for the pool and we saw all this red/pink stuff all over the inside of the liner. I am so bummed because it looked great afrer we got the rust off and now it looks like this. Almost makes me want to give up. Any ideas what it is or how to get rid of it?

I have no idea what that is.
Thank you for at least replying! I was hoping for more help from people but I suppose it is a strange issue. I think it may have been from the flowers on a tree I have. I am guessing there was some water leftover from when we cleaned it, and the flowers mixed with the water and stained it. Either way I was able to get most of off with a mixture of household items and its back up and running. Thank you again!

Glad to hear you got it off. Could have been what we call organic staining.

Sorry you fell through the cracks MonkeyDoodle. Although it seems like we have unlimited help, there are times that the people who know more about XYX don't happen to check in. Sometimes it's all automation gurus and no liner wizards.

Feel free to bump your own post a day or two later anytime if you haven't gotten an answer.

What's the rest of the history with the liner ? Is the wall bleached or was it always white ?
