I have n Hayward sand filter with pool cleaner and Pentair Intelliflo 3hp VS pump. The pump is leaking and making super loud noise and the filter is not doing a great job filtering. I can't get my water level right. I have been advised to replace my equipment. Just got quotes for a DE and Pentair VS 3hp pump installed for $3300. A bit of sticker shock here. Are there other options that could be more budget-friendly and filter the water well?
