We have a 35k gallon pool with vinyl liner and are wanting to buy a robotic pool cleaner. We have a sand filter. The various kinds available are overwhelming and would love advice on which to purchase. The pool goes from 4 ft to 8 ft with a gradual drop.

Really depends on your desires. A basic robot that will clean your pool is the S200 or Active20. No bluetooth/wifi, no floor only, no caddy. I have one, works great. From there, you can go all the way to the M600. For twice the price.

I'm on my 6th year with an Aquabot 4wd, love it. Had an issue with a gear my 2nd or 3rd year and they sent me a replacement part, no charge. My pool is kidney shaped. Not great on walls, but does climb them, just not thorough. Gets every bit on the bottom. Easy to empty, very large baskets.
