I need a cell replacement as well. Mine is saying low temp / low salt for quite some time... I took Salt reading and it is at around 3800. Cell is clean... it it is the originally one installed in summer 2019 (I'm in Florida). I think it is probably time to add a new one.. I was quoted 750+ tax on my local pinch a penny store.. they say it comes with a 2 year warranty. Any other place with better price? I know Amazon listed them for 480+ but I don't think they come with Warranty.

Do you have a 700 or 1400 model cell?

$750 is a good price for a 1400 cell.

How do I know which cell model I have? To me it seems I have the R0693900. My pool is 10100 gallons.
It should be on the label on the cell. See the white are on the left of the label that says 1400 in this picture?

Does your cell have three pins or two pins?

Sorry, I got confused and thought we were discussing an AquaPure system.

No worries... I saw your picture and realized it was different than mine. Not sure if going the amazon route for 4XX dollars and finger cross without warranty or spent the 800 for having the 3-year warranty. Remember when they installed mine in 2019 it wasn't working properly and the entire TrueClear system was replaced under warranty like 2 weeks after installed... since that its been running without issues until 2-3 weeks ago that started with the Low Salt / Low Temp messages.

Confirm with Pinch-A-Penny that you get a 3 year warranty with a cell replacement.

I called the store today.. and they told me that if you buy the entire system (Main Kit) that one will come with a 3-yr warranty.. but a new cell comes only with 1-yr warranty from the manufacturer.

That is what I thought.

So why pay almost double for a 1 year warranty? Even if the cell fails within a year and you buy a new one you are hardly out anything more.

And if the cell lasts more then a year, which it should, you have won the warranty game.
