Need Help! Should I go Sand, Cartridge or DE?

sand was about 60% of the height of the body.

That would seem pretty close. Do you have that "sand fill guide" piece they refer to in the instruction sheet?

Sure don't but I figured I would improvise with a piece of cardboard, like this:

Got it up and running, gauge works great, no more leaking. I ended up replacing all of the sand instead of cleaning what i had on the tarp. Time was just too tight as I have a big list of honey-dos for the weekend.
