Need help. Broken single button spring

One of the single button spring is broken. eBay has them but I need to wait until they arrive from China.

Do I need it to secure the horizontal beam?

Is there any ideas how to replace it with something else? Glueing the beam? Or using zip ties? Or just don’t worry about it?

my pool is Intex, size is 32x16x52

This broken spring is for the middle beam on the long side.

It is item#1 in the catalog. Enclosed are some pictures.

I would think the legs would hold everything in place without that spring. Looking at my pool now and I don't see how it can move. I'd just keep an eye on it while you're filling it up.

Thanks. I went to ACE Hardware and thought of using toggle bolts. I looked for the smallest size they have, and a screw that can fit inside the beam.

I’ve attached pic to show my progress so far. I added a tape to the beam doesn’t rust from two pieces of metal rubbing against each other.
