Hi. Native Floridian here. Yes, there are still a few of us around. I have lived in the very very northeast corner of the state - you can see Georgia across the river at the end of my road! We are also only a couple of miles from Amelia Island. Never have had a pool. Husband and I have always had boats and Harleys! It is a small pool, 14x28ft, 9993 gallons with Hayward systems: AquaRite 3 SWG, Hayward Tristar 1.5hp, two speed pump. It is a pebble tec finish. Have had problems keeping the PH right, but I hear that is a common issue with SWG. We do not have a birdcage over the pool but we have lots of oaks around us, so we get LOTS of leaves. So much so that I think they would cause the screen on a birdcage to collapse! With the oak trees come these little fuzzy pollen covered things that do a number on the water and my filter.
