Too simple to mention actually but here it goes. Relevant to Leak Detection - Trouble Free Pool in regards to water loss awareness. a few years ago I was curious how much water I actually needed to add to replenish for evaporation. An astounding 35 gal a day. So I did the bucket test to establish I had no leak.
So to eliminate manually adding water every time I decided to connect the pool fill pipe which the pool builders provided, to a sprinkler valve which happened to be conveniently located where another sprinkler valve was. Then I established that 4 minutes/day sprinkler time was needed to maintain level. Did I mention too simple?
