I am setting up an intext ultra xtr 18' pool. Been having a few setbacks, since I am over my reserve field for my leach field it is all sand, Andy yard is sloped where back half of the pool would be about 3 feet in the ground.

after digging put the orogenal spot I had hit part of my leach field popping sp had to move my whole area forward by 15 feet.
so plan had been to build a retaining wall in back half of the pool area to hold back the ground but now that I have to move it forward and the ground in some sections being as hard as rock. I have to raise the ground in the front foot and half of the pool by a foot.
So I am mow building a retaining wall around the front half of the area aswell to hold back the sand.

I made the area a 26' circle, so question is will this be fine? I will have drain pipe and crushed stone behind the retaining walls and for extra I plan to glue the blocks aswell. Also will digging down and adding a foot or so of crushed stone under each paver for the legs of the pool be ok or should I still add a layer of crushed stone and loam under the pool? I will be using 1 inch foam board under the pool for comfort aswell.
Here are a few pictures of what is done so far

Oh my. All those Pavestones are making my back hurt. Good luck to you!
Thank you, and I have to order more I think since design changed after I ordered them.
Do you think that the retaining wall in front of the pool and pool being on beach sand with raising the ground in the front couple feet of the pool will be fine? I am worried about building the ground up but have to other way of leveling that area.

If I understand your scenario correctly, you are only building up areas around the pool correct? You are not building up anything for the pool base as we typically recommend digging "down" to level the pool itself. As for the retaining wall or any ground you do build up around the pool, my only concern would be drainage to prevent water from accumulating around the pool. Will it be graded in such a way to allow water to flow away from the pool base?

I'm trying to decipher your plan but there's too much going on. Keep the question simple so I will ask are you building the ground up with the pavers or soil/sand? The base needs to be able to keep water out, which the drainage pipe, substraight will do. The question is, the base needs to be flat and how are you planning to achieve that with trying to build up.

You may be too far along for this to be of any help, but here's how I built a level pad for my Intex pool.

The outside front of the area will be built up about a foot at the most. But not sure how much of the pool will be on that area just yet till the walls are done and I build the pools frame. Trying to plan ahead. And I plan to have the grading around the pool sloped away from the pool with drainage behind the retaining wall to the side of my property away from the pool area

Sorry about that, I just have so many things going threw my head.
Pretty much my yard is sloped towards my house. So I dug down the slopped area to be level but hit real hard packed earth, almost stone like since it is near my septic leach field but 10 feet from the field itself. So because of that the front section of the pool area is still about a foot lower then the leveled area. So I am building a retaining wall around the whole pool area and will have to build up that low section woth crushed stone and sand woth drainage behind the wall which will drain to the side of my property about 40 feet away from the pool area. And will use soil sloped away from the pool towards the walls so there won't be any place for water to build up.
Now my whole back yard is beach sand woth just a few inches of top soil so I wanted to make sure that the pool will be ok being installed on the sand, since it says not to install on sand. And if my retaining wall in the front will be good enough to hold back the sand from washing away

I would of had to build up the wall to high using wood, and figured a stone retaining wall would look better and be stronger.

Ok, so your using crushed stone and sand to build up the low end. Sand is finer than 1/4s crushed stone and will wash away. You'll be waiting a while for that to fully compress before putting a pool on it, so like a year. Instead of crushed stone, better off using pea gravel, it's smaller and rounded. Put a permeable membrane on the stone and then your sand. It will help but I'm not too sure. Might have to build up the low side with pavers, seal them and put your sand on it. Sealing the pavers will help prevent wash away but it's sand... That's my 2 cents.

Would I be better off putting loam ontop of the stone and even over the area that is pure beach sand and use a plate compactor to pack it down?

Plate compactors are not nearly as good as time and mother nature. Loam allows a lot of air and water to travel, also retains a lot of water, because even compacted, it's not as 'sturdy' as clay for example. The size of your pool is going to put a lot of pressure on the ground and you want the side that you're building up to be very compacted, strong. If you plan on taking this down year after year, move forward with your plan and just be ready to make adjustments each year.
GL!
