I installed a standalone Hayward Aquarite system last summer. It uses the Hayward T-15 cell. My Aqualogic automation system quit working about 10 days ago. I replaced the main board over the weekend and it is NOW an Aqualogic Plus.
The new board looks like it has the ability to control my Hayward VSP, which I do plan to implement. It also looks like it has the ability to control the T-15 cell directly.
The VSP control is a no-brainer. But moving the Salt Cell, well the Aquarite does everything. I could leave the Aquarite in place and then have the Automation as a backup. Or I could pull the Aquarite system off the wall and put everything in the Aqualogic.
One of my buddies had issues with his system with the SWG, since there is a lot more heat in the box. The only advantage, I think I would be able to see the Salt Level and adjust the SWG with my remote.
Thoughts?

Consolidate or leave it alone?

The AquaLogic has always had the ability to control a cell.

Do you have a picture of the old board?

Yeah, I figured that out....after I bought the Aquarite. Could have saved myself a few hundred dollars. OTOH, I would have been in trouble with the dead board.
