Mothballing 325 Gallon HotSpring Prodigy Spa

We'll be leaving the heat in SW Florida for, hopefully, the cool mountains of North Carolina for September and October. The spa has been perfect, thanks TFP, since November 2019 but I want to shut it down while we're gone and refill when we return.

I have our spa startup chemistry well documented but have a question about shutdown. Should I run Ahh-Some hot Tub/Jetted Bath Plumbing and Jet Cleaner before I empty the spa? Do I need to refill to flush lines of Ahh-Some before fully draining and covering?

Any other mothball tips to make startup easier when we return?

No need to run ahh-some before draining. Just drain and use a shop vac to suck out as much water as you can from the jets.

When you return, plan on 1 to 2 purges using ahh-some to get the plumbing squeaky clean again.
