Minor drip leak at Pump - help fixing

I have a minor drip leak at a connection to the pump. I think it may be driven by the pad being slightly tilted (lower on the house side) which makes it challenging to get a perfect seal at this connection (see blue arrow). Any easy things I can do to help close the seal/fix the leak?

I'm guessing there's an O-ring in that bulkhead fitting. You might take a look and add some pool lube to it if there is one. You may be tempted to add some Teflon tape to the threads. If you do, be very careful. Only a couple wraps at most. If you make it too think you could crack that nut/ring then really have a problem on your hands.
