Hi,

I live in Belgium, Europe and am looking to install a round AGP of about 5meter/16' diameter. I have not been able to find higher quality full resin pools such as the aurora from the pool factory in Europe. Most available is resin coated metal with studs or wood (questions about longlevity with that one). However I have also found, at several locations, a pool consisting of a single continuous metal sheet of about 0.6mm/0.024" with a liner of 0.8mm/0.031". I have not found this type on this forum though. These are galvanized and plastic coated, they are delivered as a roll. They sell (only metal and liner) for about 1500, whereas the resin coated metal ones with studs go double and use thinner metal (0.4mm/0.16") be it ofcourse with studs.

Please find a picture below. Looking for any opinions on these!

Welcome to TFP.

My opinion is it will not last forever but may last a while.

The weakness is the galvinized and plastic coating. You must be careful for the life of the pool to not scratch the coating to expose the metal as that will let corrosion begin.
